Hand-picked by Tommi Holappa (Dozer/Greenleaf Guitairist) Melbournes Psychedelic Outlaws “Jack Harlon & the Dead Crows” will be hitching a ride on the tour bus for the entire tour.
DOZER
Formed in 1995, promising paths were set for this little band from Borlange, Sweden. After multiple festival slots in Sweden, by 1997 DOZER came to support The Hellacopters and The Dictators.
By 1997, the Swedes had built a strong Stoner Rock scene which slowly spread throughout Europe over time and saw the rise of bands like Lowrider, The Awesome Machine, Demon Cleaner and Witchcraft.
Since the bands inception, they have created six albums including the latest.
Much to their critical acclaim, the releases placed the band on the world-wide map. The strong songwriting craftsmanship in their evolving interpretations of Stoner Rock attracted artists such as Neil Fallon (Clutch) and Troy Sanders (Mastodon) to feature on songs that would follow as they continued to release these ground-breaking rock albums. These connections grew far and wide, landing DOZER support slots with CLUTCH and MASTODON along with other slots including Entombed, Bongzilla, Weedeater, Three Inches of Blood, Rollins Band and Iggy & The Stooges.
Fast forward to 2004, DOZER made their way to Australia covering the east coast cities with Aussie rockers Giants of Science, much to their surprise selling out 300 capacity venues in Melbourne and Sydney.
JACK HARLON & THE DEAD CROWS
Formed in 2016, Jack Harlon & The Dead Crows are a psychedelic fuzz rock band from Melbourne, Australia, who incorporate elements of blues, stoner rock, folk and doom metal into their distinctive sound.
Much of their music follows the character of drug-addicted outlaw “Jack Harlon,” with songs that spin tales of desperation and survival in a fictitious western landscape.
In 2023 the band released their third studio album ‘Hail To The Underground’ – A fuzz-drenched, genre-crossing collection of renditions by Jack Harlon & The Dead Crows selected for their musical importance and personal meaning. Filtered heavily through the spaced-out psychedelia of Jack Harlon’s inimitable style, this collection includes songs originally written by lesser-known artists through a multitude of decades.
Throughout their career, Jack Harlon & The Dead Crows have toured and performed with the likes of Greenleaf, Sasquatch, Wo-Fat and WHORES.
